David Solomon, Chairman
Meritage Funds
David Solomon is a Founder and Managing Director of Meritage Funds, a Denver-based manager of private investment funds. Previously, he served as CEO and Executive Chairman of NuVox. He grew the company from annual revenue of less than $200,000 to over $530 million. Windstream Corporation acquired NuVox in February 2010 in a transaction that valued the Company at approximately $643 million. A Certified Public Accountant with a strong operational and financial background, Mr. Solomon served as Executive Vice President and CFO at Brooks Fiber Properties immediately following the Company’s formation in 1993 until its sale to WorldCom in 1998 for $3.4 billion. Mr. Solomon was a Partner in the audit practice of KPMG where he served from 1981 until he joined Brooks Fiber Properties. He is a member of the American Institute and Tennessee Society of CPAs, and serves on the Board of Trustees for Lipscomb University.

IP Commerce founder and Executive Chairman Chip Kahn exemplifies entrepreneurialism, with an impressive track record of identifying business opportunities and developing innovative strategies to address market needs. Mr. Kahn also serves on the advisory board for BroadHop, Inc., a broadband services software company.

Derek Pilling serves as IP Commerce’s Chief Executive Officer. He has been with the Company since 2006, first as a board member and later as President before taking on his current role. He brings sixteen years of experience as an executive, investor and advisor to technology enabled services businesses.

Mike Brooks

Mike has been a General Partner with Venrock since 2000 and has been an active venture capital investor for over 25 years. During his career, he spent 11 years with Morgan Stanley & Co, where he was the Managing Director responsible for the firm’s investment banking activities with emerging growth and technology companies, and 15 years with J.H. Whitney & Co. where he served as Managing Partner of the firm. His extensive background in finance and investments provides entrepreneurs in enterprise software, financial services and digital media with unique insights into managing and financing rapidly growing businesses. He has been recognized on the Forbes Midas list and has served as a director of the National Venture Capital Association. Mike has his B.A. from Yale and MBA from Harvard Business School. Mike currently serves on the Boards of Pipeline Trading, Semtek and Virgin Money.

As a recognized payments technology leader, known for crafting the requisite strategic vision to achieve business goals, Bill Weingart offers a unique blend of executive acumen, global team-building, and product solutions, credited with strong ROI and operational improvement. Bill currently holds the position of Chief Product Officer at Vantiv and his career includes leadership roles at Citibank, Card Establishment Services, and First Data Corporation, where he rose through positions including application development, DBA, and process design to take the role of Senior Manager, where he led complex systems implementations, Applications Development, and Product Management. Bill Holds a Masters Degree in Corporate Finance from Dowling College in Oakdale, New York, and maintains an active membership in the CIO Technology Executive Network and the Working Council of CIO’s.

Tim leads Strategy, Corporate Development and Digital Innovation efforts for Blackhawk Network, where he is responsible for driving commerce convergence between major players in the digital marketplace and major retailers via open platform digital services to help retailers leverage social media, mobile wallets, and other digital payment apps to effectively deliver digital marketing and prepaid. Prior to joining Blackhawk Network, Tim served as Managing Director for Market Platform Dynamics where he advised executives of global payments and platform industry clients on innovation and growth strategies and catalyzing new product revenues. Tim also served as both the SVP of Product Innovation and Development and the Global Head of Product Innovation for the world’s largest payment company, Visa. Tim holds a Master’s degree in American Literature from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor’s degree in Literature from the University of Alabama.

David Evans has been a business advisor to many payment companies around the world. He is the author of Paying with Plastic: The Digital Revolution in Buying and Borrowing which is the definitive source on the payments industry. His more recent work is “Innovation and Payments” which describes the how the combination of data-driven marketing, cloud-based computing, and mobile telephony will transform the payments industry. David is the founder of Market Platform Dynamics, a boutique consulting firm that helps businesses leverage economics and quantitative methods for growth and profit. David teaches part time at the University of Chicago where he is a Lecturer and at the University College London where he is a Visiting Professor and Executive Director of The Jevons Institute for Competition Law and Economics. He has a Ph.D. and undergraduate degree in economics from the University of Chicago. He also serves on the boards of several high-technology companies and is a longtime advisor to some of the largest platform-based companies in the world
Steve Lucas

Steve Lucas is the Senior Vice President of BU Sales for North America at SAP, focused on driving customer success with SAP Business Intelligence, Performance Optimization and GRC solutions. Prior to SAP, Steve was the SVP of Force.com marketing and Alliances at Salesforce.com, where he worked to encourage partners, developers and customers to adopt the Force.com platform and enable the next generation of enterprise applications in the cloud. Prior to salesforce.com, Steve devoted 10 years to SAP Business Objects and Crystal Decisions including roles as the Worldwide Vice President of the OnDemand (SaaS) business unit. Over his 10 years at both Crystal Decisions and Business Objects, he led various teams including OEM sales, Partner Channel Management and Data Integration. He has authored several books on Business Intelligence and is a contributor to a number of Business Intelligence publications. Throughout his career, Steve has worked in the software industry in technical, sales and consulting management capacities. Steve, his wife and two children live in Denver, Colorado.
Stephen Reade

Stephen Reade is Founder, Chairman and CEO of MetaGlobal Group (MGG), an investment-operating company based in San Francisco and New York City. Reade most recently served as the Global Vice President, General Manager of the Software and Technology Services (STS) business unit at NCR, where he was responsible for developing and managing next-generation global, cross-industry, software and technology services. Prior to joining NCR, Reade was the Senior Vice President of the Global Product Group at Solidus Networks and the Executive Vice President of Worldwide Operations at Grand Central Communications. He has held globally focused executive roles for leading information technology, platform, online services and SaaS companies including Grand Central Communications (Google Voice), FoundryOne, AOL/Netscape, DoubleClick/NetGravity, Creative Labs, and Adobe/Macromedia. Reade received his B.A. from Colby College and also attended Oxford University/Wadham College and The College of William and Mary. In addition to advising IP Commerce, Reade is currently an operating advisor to Ingres-VectorWise Inc., and an advisory board member with ZipMark Inc. and AllTrustNetworks, Inc.
